Are you struggling with food since your Alpha-gal diagnosis? Are you tired of eating the same foods over and over again?
Then you have arrived at the right place! My name is Evette Gurley, founder ~ creator ~ owner of Earthy Attributes.
I was diagnosed with Alpha-gal Syndrome in 2023 after a mysterious illness plagued me for a year and half.
In addition, to the "red meat allergy" I am also allergic to corn which I developed in 2021 but did not realize until 2024!
I was bit by a tick in 2014 and vividly remember it. I knew nothing about Alpha-gal nor the consequences that
tiny tick bite would have on my body. After years of struggle and finally being diagnosed, I began to understand why.
I am fume reactive; I cannot eat dairy nor any form of mammal food or ingredients. My alpha-gal symptoms manifest
gastrointestinal including severe stomach pain and colon pain. After my diagnosis, I submerged myself into research regarding
food. I also started developing vegan, alpha-gal safe, all-natural, nontoxic products and launched my company Earthy Attributes in January 2025.
I decided at the beginning of 2026 to launch Alpha-gal Eats, my passion, in order to help those with food allergies or
anyone else who desires to take control of their diet. I also have a section on my Earthy Attributes website dedicated to "Everything Alpha-gal" another one of my passions. This food allergy like all the others is no joke! It is real and hundreds of thousands have it and don't even know it.
You do not have to turn into a 100% Vegan with Alpha-gal. Chicken, hens, turkey, duck, fish, and any type of seafood is safe to eat as long as you are not already allergic to those. I recommend wild caught seafood and fish, duck on occasion as it is high in fat content and cholesterol and local sourced organic eggs from your neighbor farmers.
Incorporate vegan meals to curtail boredom and you will be pleasantly surprised of the flavor and health benefits.
